Everyday Apps: NetNewsWire →

Thursday Afternoon —

I’ve been using RSS feeds to keep track of various blogs and news sites for years now. I used Google Reader for a very long time, and swore by it. I couldn’t find an equal for it’s speed, ease of use, or organization abilities. It really is an awesome webapp. One day I was listening to The Talk Show one day and John got off on one of his standard diatribes that we all know and love. At any rate, he was talking about NetNewsWire, an RSS reader application for Mac (sorry PC users).

Protests, petitions, polls, and pretension. I’m generally not one to follow the herd. I like a lot of things that others feel very passionately against. Here are a few examples, in no particular order.

Everyday Apps: Netvibes →

Friday Night —

Like most people, I have a set of applications and websites I use every day. I’m going to try and dedicate a post to each of these, and I’d love to see others do the same, because I think it’s really interesting to see how different people go about doing the same things in different ways. First up, Netvibes.

Popularly Partaken Podcasts →

Saturday Afternoon —

To kick off my Obligatory Lists category, I’m going to list the podcasts I listen to and highly recommend. Since it will be difficult to order these by favoritism, I’ll go in chronological order, meaning the podcasts I’ve listened to the longest first.
